Spring MeadowAs spring comes to the Eastern Sierra, we look forward to warmer days, creeks chattering with fresh snowmelt, and wild flowers popping up in green pastures. Spring is synonymous with fresh growth, and it’s time we grew, too: what better way to inaugurate our favorite season than with our Spring Membership Drive! Beginning this week and running up until the first day of summer – Friday, June 21 – we are pushing our efforts into high gear and hoping to broaden our member base. Our goal is to add 50 new members during that period; the clock is ticking, so spread the word!

With your tax-deductible membership and donations, we are able to protect working farms and ranches, wildlife habitat, open spaces, historical sites, and recreational activities while also providing educational opportunities for residents and visitors. By joining Eastern Sierra Land Trust now, you can be a part of our mission as we team up on projects like permanently securing  Snowcreek Meadow, restoring native fish to Benton Hot Springs Ranch, and working to protect other vital Eastern Sierra lands from poorly planned development.

Additionally, Vern Clevenger has graciously donated a beautiful print called “North Lake Skyline,” pictured below, which we will be raffling off at the end of our Spring Drive. Raffle tickets are available for purchase through the duration of the drive for the following price: $2 for 1 ticket, $5 for 3 tickets, or $20 for 15 tickets. The dimensions of the framed print are approximately 30″ x 40″. Please call or email us for purchase information.
